Privacy Policy
Pirates of Ludo, by Autobot Energy. Last updated: 11 October 2026.
In short: we keep only what the game needs to work: a nickname, your game progress and a random account key made by the app. No ads, no selling of data, no tracking across other apps. You can delete everything at any time from Settings › Delete my data.
What we collect
- Nickname and captain portrait you choose. They are shown to other players in matches.
- Game progress: coins, items you own or equip, power tokens, match statistics and your daily-bonus date.
- A random account key created by the app on your device. It links the app to your progress. We do not ask for your email, phone number or real name.
- Your Google Play Games or Game Center player ID, if you are signed in to that service on your phone. We link it to your account so your progress can be restored on a new or reset phone. We receive the player ID and game name only, never your Google or Apple password, email or contacts.
- Your time-zone offset, so the daily bonus resets at your local midnight.
- Match activity (your moves and powers) while a match is played.
- Chat: emotes, quick phrases and (in private rooms with friends) short typed messages are filtered for bad words and passed to the other players in that match. We do not keep chat after the match.
- Voice chat (private rooms with friends only, and only if you turn on your microphone) is carried by Unity Vivox, a service of Unity Technologies, in real time. We do not record it.
- Technical data: your IP address and connection times in our server logs, and app diagnostics (such as crash reports and which screens are used) so we can fix problems. These are kept for a short time.
How we use it
To run matches, save your progress, pay rewards, keep chat friendly, prevent cheating and fix problems. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Who else handles it
- Fly.io hosts our game server and database (Singapore region).
- Unity Technologies provides voice chat (Vivox) and the anonymous sign-in it needs.
- Google (Google Play Games, on Android) and Apple (Game Center, on iPhone) confirm your player ID when you are signed in to their game service.
Data is sent over encrypted connections (TLS).
How long we keep it
Your progress is kept until you delete it. Accounts unused for two years are deleted. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
Deleting your data
Open Settings › Delete my data in the app and confirm: your progress and account are erased from our server and from your device straight away. More options: the data deletion page.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used the game, contact us and we will delete the data.
Changes and contact
We will post any changes on this page. Questions or requests: common@autobotenergy.com.
